Klimt – The immersive experience in Vienna
This programme can be combined with any other offer on our website, for example “Round trips” or “City breaks”
In 2022 the exceptional artist Gustav Klimt would have turned 160 years old. We are celebrating this event with a special package that includes a visit to the multimedia
exhibition “KLIMT – The Immersive Experience”, which allows us to fully immerse ourselves in the world of the Viennese painter through impressive light installations and 3D projections that bring the paintings to life.
Visitors are treated to a multimedia show comprising 200 of Klimt’s works on 2,000m² of floor space, ending with a virtual reality demonstration in which the most famous works are seen through the artist’s eyes.
In addition, we offer a visit to the Upper Belvedere Gallery, which houses the world’s largest collection of Klimt’s works, including “The Kiss” and “Judith” – which are internationally renowned. If you would like to delve even deeper into the world of Klimt, we recommend a visit to the Secession, where you can admire the famous Beethoven Frieze with a size of 34x2m, or the Museum of Fine Arts, where Klimt himself decorated the staircase with 40 paintings.
