Day 2 Prague
Breakfast. Panoramic city tour (half day tour).
During this tour you will see the most interesting historical sights of Prague – the Municipal House, Wenceslas Square, the National Museum, Charles Square followed by a ride along the beautiful riverside, across the River Vltava to Prague Castle. In the city center you will admire the Old Town Square, the Tyn Church, St. Nicholas Church and the astronomical clock on the Old Town Hall where the tour ends.
In the evening we invite you to Prague’s famous black-light theater. Black-light theater is one big optical illusion (the black cabinet trick), which takes advantage of your imperfect human eye: that you can’t distinguish black-on-black. Puppets and props, controlled by actors dressed in black, seem to move of their own accord right in front of you. Only music, expressive dance, and specific technical tricks communicate the story for the audience, without the use of spoken word.
Day 3 Prague
Breakfast. Excursion to Prague’s Castle (half day tour).
Today we will take you to Prague Castle. During this tour of the interiors of the castle you will visit the Royal Palace, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George‘s Basilica and the Golden Lane. Our guide will highlight all important historical details of the castle’s role in Czech history. After the visit you will descend the castle stairs to the Lesser Town and continue walking towards Charles Bridge where the tour ends.
In the evening you will enjoy some Czech cuisine at a traditional brewery. Prague has a long and lively beer tradition. The oldest brewpub dates from the year 1499, is still functioning today and supposed to be the oldest one of its kind on earth. Enjoy some traditional food at one of Prague’s numerous pubs!
