Salt Mines and Hellbrunn Palace Tour
This tour is divided into two parts. The first part involves exploring the Salzburg Salt Mine. We will discover the underground galleries that, for centuries, have been used to extract “white gold.” We will put ourselves in the shoes of a miner, sliding down traditional wooden slides or strolling through illuminated tunnels, where every corner holds a fascinating story.
The second part of the tour takes us to Hellbrunn Palace, famous for its unusual trick fountains and mysterious grottoes. The fountains were designed to surprise and amuse the guests of the owner, Archbishop Markus Sittikus, creating an atmosphere of wonder and fun. It is worth noting that the palace was not intended as a permanent residence, so it does not have bedrooms.
