Excursion to Hall and Hasegg Castle
“From Innsbruck, we will travel to the medieval town of Hall. Upon arriving in Hall, we will visit Hasegg Castle, famous for housing the Hall Mint. Over 500 years ago, this small town became an important coin minting center in Tyrol. We will have the opportunity to mint our own coin, a unique experience. Then, we will explore the Hasegg Tower, from where you can enjoy a stunning view of Hall and its surroundings.
Next, we will take a walk through the historic center of Hall, known for its narrow streets and for housing some of the best-preserved medieval buildings in Austria. Highlights include the Oberer Stadtplatz square, where the town hall is located, the Gothic-style St. Nicholas Church, and the Coin Tower, which we had previously visited. The town also offers spectacular views of the Alps and a charming atmosphere, with traditional cafés and shops that reflect its rich cultural heritage.”
