Neuschwanstein Castle

Excursion to the most romantic area of the Bavarian Alps, passing through Füssen we will approach Schwangau, where the Neuschwanstein Castle is located.

The famous King Ludwig II of Bavaria – the “Mad King” – ordered the construction of this romantic castle at the expense of the treasures of the Bavarian royal family. Walt Disney was inspired by it for the castle in the story of Sleeping Beauty. We will visit the interiors, where we can admire the fabulous frescoes and the decorations featuring motifs from the operas of Richard Wagner.

From the “Maria” bridge, just outside the castle, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the picturesque Bavarian landscape with its wonderful lakes and forests. After the visit, there will be lunch and then a return to Munich.
