Potsdam Excursion
Between forests and lakes, surrounded by palaces and legends, is Potsdam, the former summer residence of the Kings of Prussia and Emperors of Germany for more than 300 years, with a set of palaces and gardens considered to be some of the most beautiful in Europe. Potsdam is also known as the Prussian Versailles, the city in which the Treaty of Potsdam was signed in which the Allies divided up the areas occupied by Germany after the war. We will visit the gardens of the Sans Soucis Palace and the Cecilienhof Palace, where the Potsdam Conference took place in 1945.
