Finally, we make our way into the breathtaking Lake District to reach the village of Mondsee. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to step inside the world-famous golden Basilica of St. Michael, where Maria and the Captain were wed in the film’s grand finale, followed by time to soak up the charm of this truly idyllic lakeside town.
