THE NEW NATIONAL DMC ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRIA

In the future, the Forum Incoming OERV will present itself as the national association of incoming and MICE agencies in Austria, created as a merger of the Tourism Forum Incoming and the former Incoming Committee of the OERV (Austrian Travel Association) and implemented in close cooperation between Ms. Eva Buzzi, President of the OERV, and Mr. Dr. Walter Säckl, General Secretary of the OERV, as well as Ms. Gerda Knapp (Top Travel) and Mr. Helmut Bernhart (Mundivision), both leaders of the Tourism Forum Incoming.

The members of the Forum Incoming OERV are fully licensed companies in the travel industry, stand for professionalism, competence as well as experience and through their work ensure the sustainable success of the destination Austria.

The main goals of the Forum Incoming serve not only its members but also the cooperation with partners and tourism service providers in Austria.

• Promoting incoming tourism to Austria
• Communication of the economic factor ‘incoming’
• Cooperation agreements with service providers
• Collaboration with AUSTRIAN TOURISM, AUSTRIAN HOTEL ASSOCIATION and other public representatives of economy
• Dealing with important issues regarding authorities and offices (e.g. TOMS margin tax)
• Measures against unfair business practices

 

The Incoming Forum brings competitors together without any competitive thoughts, uses combined strength to create THE communication and lobbying platform for the incoming industry and develops ideas and future strategies.
