Budapest – Vienna – Prague
Day 1 BUDAPEST
Arrival at the airport in Budapest. Transfer to the city centre of Budapest by private bus with local English-speaking guide who will also provide you all necessary information for your trip. During the panoramic city tour our local guide will tell you all about this beautiful city, that is devided by the danube in “Buda” and “Pest”. Visiting the most important streets and monuments: the famous Fishermen’s Bastion with magnificent perspectives of the Parliament and the Danube, the Matías Church, the Esteban Monument I and the National Palace, all located in the city part called “Buda”. The tour ends at the hotel. Checkin at the hotel and distribution of the rooms. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 2 BUDAPEST
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of “Pest”: Starting our tour by following along Andrássy Avenue to reach the Heroes’ Square, there we will see the Vajdahunyard Castle (exterior visit). The Széchenyi Baths, the Opera (exterior visit), the Parliament (exterior visit), the Basilica-Cathedral of Saint Stephen and the famous Central Market. Lunch in a traditional restaurant. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 3 BUDAPEST - Bratislava - VIENNA
Breakfast. Departure to Bratislava. Bratislava, also known as the “the beauty of the danube”, is one of the unknown treasures of central Europe. Formely called Pressburg, and Poszony by the Hungarians, it was the Capital of Hungary for more than 300 years and the place of coronation of the Habsburgs as kings of Hungary. Walking tour (2 hrs) with a local Englisch speaking guide. During this visit we will pass by the famous Primate’s Palace, the old town hall and the old town where most of the important monuments and buildings are located. Lunch in a typical restaurnt. Continuation of our journey to Vienna. Check in at the hotel and room distribution. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 4 VIENNA
Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic city tour (4 hrs) including Schönbrunn entrance. The most important monuments of Vienna await you. Starting with the Ringstrasse Avenue with its magnificent historic buildings, such as the Opera, the museums of Natural History and Fine Arts, the Parliament, the City Hall, the University, the national theatre and the Votive Church. Visit of Schönbrunn Palace, summer resicende of the imperial family, known as the palace of Empress Sisi where we will admire the rooms, parlours and halls. A walk through the beautiful gardens willl give us an idea of the magnitude of the palace grounds. Before the tour ends we will take you to Belvedere Palace (exterior visit) and its beautiful gardens. Lunch at a restaurant. Walking tour (2 hrs) with local guide. We will discover the historic centre of Vienna, declared Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Starting from the State Opera and going through the streets and squares where Sisi, Franz Joseph and Maria Teresa used to take their walks, we will get to Hofburg, the Imperial Palace, which houses the Spanish Riding School, the Imperial Apartments, the Silver Collection and the Sis Museum. Then we will pass by the Church of St. Peter and the Church of St. Michael. Next we will walk through the luxurious strees of the Kohlmarkt, Graben and Kärtnerstraße until we reach the Catedral of Saint Stephen (external visit). Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Transfer back to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 5 VIENNA - PRAGUE
Breakfast. Departure to Prague by private bus. Arrival in Prague – the capital of the Czech Republic. Lunch in a traditional restaurant. After lunch the city tour (3 hrs) of Prague.
Day 6 PRAGUE
Prague Old Town, approx. 3h
Breakfast. To get to know Prague, sometimes also called the “golden city” or “city of the hundred cupolas”, better we will start the day with a walking tour focused on the historic and artistic highlights. During our visit we will see the Old Town Square, the Tyn Church, the Powder Tower, the astronomical clock and the famous Charles Bridge. Lunch at a traditional restaurant. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 7 PRAGUE
Breakfast. Check out and free time until transfer by private bus the airport.
