Day 1 Arrival to Vienna
Arrival and check in at your chosen hotel. Dinner at your hotel in the evening.
Day 2 Vienna
Panoramic sightseeing tour of the city, including the Ringstrasse Avenue with its magnificent buildings, the Prater, the colorful Hundertwasser House and the gardens of Belvedere Palace. Lunch in the city centre, followed by a guided tour on foot through the historic heart of the city. The tour will include visits to both the famous State Opera House and St. Stephan’s Cathedral, the landmark of Vienna. Spend the evening at leisure – perhaps you may like to visit one of the many popular concerts.
Day 3 Vienna
This morning you will visit one of the highlights of Vienna, the beautiful Schoenbrunn Palace, once the summer residence of the imperial family. Admire the splendor of bygone days during a guided tour through the state apartments, then watch an apple strudel show in one of the palace buildings. Taste a piece of delicious strudel – probably the most famous Austrian dessert! Explore Vienna on your own in the afternoon, then in the evening it is time to experience another Viennese tradition. Dinner will be served at a Heuriger (typical wine tavern) in one of Vienna´s picturesque wine-growing districts. Enjoy a typical 3-course menu and 1/4 l wine, before returning to your hotel.
