Munich & Tyrol

Day 1 MUNICH - INNSBRUCK

Arrival at Munich airport. Your tour guide will await you in the reception hall. Transfer to Innsbruck. Checkin at the hotel and distribution of the rooms. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 2 INNSBRUCK

Breakfast. Panoramic visit of Innsbruck (2 hrs). Innsbruck’s famous sights are waiting for you! We will pass by the Basilica Wilten built in the Rococo Style that has its origin in a Roman church from the year 420. In the historic city centre we will encounter the Church of the Court where the mausoleum of Maximilian I is located. We will also pass by Hofburg palace (former residence of the Court), the medieval houses that give Innsbruck its special charm and, of course, the Golden Roof. Next we will take the Nordkettenbahn funicular and have lunch in a typical restaurant in the mountains. Free time and return to Innsbruck. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. In the evening we will enjoy a folklore show incl. 3 course dinner and a beverage. The Tyrolean Evening Show is a family business run by the Gundolf Family since 1967 and they are considered the musical ambassadors representing Innsbruck and Tyrolean music around the world. The performance includes authentic Tyrolean music, Folk dances and “shoe-slapping” as well as typical Tyrolean songs and “yodeling”. Return to the hotel. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 3 INNSBRUCK

Breakfast. Departure to Wattens, a village at close distance to Innsbruck, to visit the Swarovski Crystal Worlds. The Crystal Worlds fascinate their visitors through a combination of different colors, the variety in forms and the futuristic structures. After our visit we will make our way to Lake Achensee, the biggest lake in Tyrol. During a boat ride we will enjoy the enchanting landscape. Lunch at a traditional restaurant. Free time and return to Innsbruck. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 4 INNSBRUCK - Excursion to Salzburgo

Breakfast. At 8:00h departure to Salzburg for the day excursion (approx. 10 hrs). During the excursion we will discover the highlights of the city. The tour starts at the gardens of Mirabell Palace, there you’ll have a great view of the fortress. After crossing the bridge over river Salzach we’ll come to the alley Getreidegasse, where the birth house of Mozart is located. Next we will see the Residence Square, the Cathedral, the Horse Pond, as well as the Festival House and Saint Peter’s Church. Lunch at a typical restaurant. Free time to explore the city on your own. Return to Innsbruck. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 5 INNSBRUCK - MUNICH

Breakfast. Departure to Munich. At our arrival we will enjoy a walking tour through the historic center of the city. Entering through one of the old gates of the city known as Karlstor, we will go to St. Michael Church, where the remains of the “Mad King” can be found. After crossing Marienplatz we will encounter the City Hall with its famous chimes and the Frauenkirche church. Subsequently we make our way to the Opera Square, the Feldherrnhalle, the Royal Residence, and the Church of St.Peter. Lunch at a restaurant. After our meal we will continue to discover this city famous for its traditional breweries, but also for its culture and old traditions through a panoramic tour. We will show you the most important monuments of the Bavarian capital, with its numerous churches, historic buildings and museums including the Old and Modern Art Galleries. During the visit you will also see the “Theresienwiese” a vast public green space which transforms into an enormous festival area for “Oktoberfest”. The tour will be ended at the hotel.
