Panoramic City Tour with Hellbrunn Palace

During this tour, we’ll see Salzburg’s most important monuments, including some known filming locations for the movie The Sound of Music. Leaving the center of Salzburg, we’ll pass Mirabell Palace toward Nonnberg Hill, where the abbey of the same name is located. In the background, we’ll also see the impressive Hohensalzburg Fortress. We continue to the outskirts of Salzburg, passing Frohnburg Castle, whose façade served as the main entrance to the Trapp family home in the film, until we reach Hellbrunn Palace, where the gazebo where the song “16 Going on 17” was filmed is located. Once there, we’ll take the opportunity to visit the water features in the palace park (only in summer). On the way back to the center of Salzburg, we’ll see Leopoldskron Castle, famous for its boat scene. The tour ends in the center of Salzburg.
