Panoramic tour of Pest
During this visit we get to know the part of Budapest called “Pest”. We will go up the glamorous Andrassy Avenue, where the Budapest Opera House is located, until we reach Heroes’ Square, the largest square in the capital, adorned with numerous bronze statues, representing the most emblematic figures in the country’s history. We continue with a walk through the Városliget park, the so-called “City Park” where the romantic Vajdahuyad Castle is located, built in 4 different architectural styles, which today houses the Museum of Agriculture and the Széchenyi Spa. On the way back to the center we will visit St. Stephen’s Basilica, which owes its name to the founding king of the Hungarian state Szent István, the relic of whose right hand is preserved in one of its chapels.
