Small Carpathian Tour
A trip to Bratislava is not complete without a visit to the Small Carpathians, one of the most idyllic wine country landscapes in Slovakia. Starting from the illustrious and gothic old town we will explore the Carpathians region. We spend half a day discovering life in the outskirts of the Slovakian capital, enjoying nature, culture, and fine Slovak wines. Let the journey take us down to the rich vineyards of the Little Carpathian mountains, where a cozy and ambient atmosphere persuades us to escape the city for the day. We will visit the Red Stone Castle, a picturesque Slovak landmark perched at the top of the Casta village. We continue by driving through the trail of villages to the colorful small town of Pezinok. Known for its ancestral Majolica pottery and top-flight produce of wines that served locals and kings for centuries, Pezinok houses a great deal of preserved historical monuments that attract tourists and visitors every day. The last stop is a light wine tasting session in the highly esteemed Sväty Jur, a 500-year old cellar that is home to the best Slovak wines. Afterward, we will head back to Bratislava, the excursion will finish at our hotel.
