Vienna & Tyrol
Day 1 Arrival to VIENNA
Arrival to Vienna. Pick up from Vienna International Airport by private coach with English speaking assistance and transfer to Vienna’s city center.
Lunch in a typical restaurant.
In the afternoon panoramic sightseeing tour of the city, including the Ringstrasse Avenue with its magnificent buildings, the Prater, the colorful Hundertwasser House and the gardens of Belvedere Palace.
Check in and distribution of rooms at the reception. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.
Day 2 VIENNA
Buffet breakfast in your hotel.
In the morning two of Vienna’s most important buildings are waiting for you: the State Opera, one of the world’s most famous opera houses, and Schoenbrunn Palace. During the interior visit of the opera we will get to know the splendor and magnificence of this building where more than 300 functions per year are held. Afterwards you will visit one of the highlights of Vienna, the beautiful Schoenbrunn Palace, once the summer residence of the imperial family. Admire the splendor of bygone days during a guided tour through the state apartments. Afterwards we will go for a short walk through Schoenbrunn’s impressive gardens.

In the afternoon we will stroll through the historic city center. Passing by beautiful palaces we reach St Stephen’s cathedral. Interior visit of this impressive gothic building and continuation to the Imperial Palace, where we can find the Spanish Riding School, the National Library etc. (exterior visit). Transfer to the hotel by coach.
In the evening we will take you along the illuminated Ringstrasse Avenue to the picturesque village of Grinzing – famous for its typical wine taverns. We invite you to a traditional Viennese dinner including 1 glass of wine in one of these taverns.
Day 3 VIENNA - Excursion to Danube Valley
Buffet breakfast in your hotel.
Today’s tour takes us to the Danube Valley and the old wine-growing region of Krems. Perhaps the most famous castle in the Danube Valley is Dürnstein, where King Richard Lionheart was imprisoned. During a romantic boat-trip on the Danube river the history comes alive. The highlight of this excursion will be an interior visit of the Benedictine Abbey of Melk, a pearl of the Austrian Baroque and afterwards we will have lunch in a restaurant near Melk Abbey!
In the afternoon return to Vienna and rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 4 Vienna - Salzkammergut - TYROL
Buffet breakfast in your hotel and check out.
Departure to the famous lake district Salzkammergut, one of the nicest areas of Austria; known for the movie “Sound of Music”. Passing by the city of Gmunden and driving along the shores of lake Traunsee we will reach the picturesque town of Bad Ischl, where Emperor Francis Joseph used to spend the summer. Then we continue to the most famous village of the area – “St. Wolfgang” situated at lake “Wolfgangsee”.

In the afternoon around 15.00h we continue our trip to Tyrol – Austria’s alpine region – and its capital Innsbruck. Arrival to your hotel in Tyrol, check in and distribution of rooms. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.
Day 5 TYROL - Excursion to Innsbruck
Buffet breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Innsbruck.
Upon arrival we will see the most important spots of the city. The Olympic track of ski jumps, the Golden Roof, the Church of Court (where you can find the grave of emperor Maximilian I surrounded by the famous black giant statues made of copper), Hofburg Palace (ancient residence of the Court) and the old town with the medieval houses.

Free time until aprox. 16.30h and return to your hotel. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.
Day 6 TYROL - Excursion to Tyrol's picturesque villages
Buffet breakfast in your hotel.
This excursion takes us to Tyrol’s most beautiful places. Across the Zillertal Valley and the Gerlos pass we reach the impressive waterfalls of Krimml. During our walk through the natural park we will have spectacular views of the waterfalls. Afterwards we continue by bus to the Thurn pass and the village of Mittersill.

The next stops of our tour are Kitzbühel – a famous skiing area – and Wattens, where we will visit the spectactular Swarovski Crystal Worlds. 14 wonderful chambers are awaiting us – each one designed or inspired by artists like Brian Eno, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol or Niki de Saint Phalle. Every one of the chambers holds something extraordinary, curious, colourful or enchanting.
Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.
Day 7 TYROL - Excursion to Salzburg
Buffet breakfast in the hotel and departure to Salzburg.
Upon arrival we will start our panoramic city tour at the gardens of Mirabell palace from where we will have marvellous views of the fortress. Afterwards we will cross the river “Salzach” and continue our visit at the Baroque Old Town where we can find the cathedral, Residence Square and the festival quarter. We’ll also see the famous street “Getreidegasse”, where Mozart’s birthplace is located.

In the afternoon time at leisure in Salzburg. At aprox. 17.30h return to Tyrol by bus.

Day 8 Departure from MUNICH
Buffet breakfast in your hotel, check out and departure to Munich.
Before the transfer to the Airport we will show you the beautiful city of Munich – Bavaria’s capital famous for its beer breweries, but also for its culture and traditions. During this tour you will get to know Munich’s most famous buildings and sights such as the Holy Trinity Church, the Opera, the Residence and the English Garden. We will also take you to the Theresienwiese area, where the Oktoberfest takes place every year.
