Munich – Black Forest – Frankfurt
Day 1 MUNICH
Arrival transfer from the airport to your hotel. Information about your stay through our staff. Checkin at the hotel and distribution of the rooms. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2 MUNICH
Breakfast. Panoramic city tour. Munich is famous for its traditional breweries, but also for its culture and old traditions. We will show you the most important monuments of the Bavarian capital, with its numerous churches, historic buildings and museums including the Old and Modern Art Galleries. During the visit we will pass by Trinity Church, the Opera, the former Royal Residence and the famous English Garden. Furthermore we will see “Theresienwiese” a vast public green space which transforms into an enormous festival area for “Oktoberfest”. Then we make a stop to take a walk through the pedestrian area to the famous “Viktualienmarkt” – a market where all the specialities of Bavaria can be purchased, like the famous”Weisswurst” sausages. Lunch in a traditional restaurant. After lunch we will continue our walking tour through the city. Entering through one of the old gates of the city known as Karlstor, we will go to St. Michael Church, where the remains of the “Mad King” can be found. After crossing Marienplatz we will encounter the City Hall with its famous chimes and the Frauenkirche church. Subsequently we make our way to the Opera Square, the Feldherrnhalle, the Royal Residence, and the Church of St.Peter. Free time to explore the city individually. Individual return to the hotel. Accomodation at the hotel.
Day 3 MUNICH - Lake Constance - Black Forest
Breakfast. Departure to Lake Constance. On our way we will pass through the villages Lindau and Friedrichshafen. Lunch at a restaurant. After lunch we will continue our journey to the Black Forest. Checkin at the hotel and distribution of the rooms. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 Excursion to Triberg -Freiburg - Titisee
Breakfast. Departure in the direction of Triberg, where we will admire the largest cuckoo clock in the world. Before we continue our journey to Freiburg we will see the Triberg waterfalls. In Freiburg we will enjoy a guided tour with an English speaking local guide. The tour will lead us from Münstermarkt, the market at the cathedral and the Münster cathedral, the symbol of the town, to the historic buildings of the town, like the old department store. Free time to explore the picturesque alleys and discover Freiburg on your own. In the Afternoon we will make one last stop at Lake Titisee, located at the heart of the Black Forest. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 5 BLACK FOREST - Baden Baden - Heidelberg - FRANKFURT
Breakfast. Departure in the direction of Frankfurt with two planned stops at interesting destinations. First we will visit Baden Baden the spa town in Germany. There we will see the hot springs of the Caracalla Spa and Friedrichsbad, which is considered to be one of the most luxuries and modern spas in Europe. Furthermore we will pass by the theatre and the “Trinkhalle” gallery. Our second stop will be Heidelberg, located between the Neckar River and the Odenwald forest. Heidelberg has a lot to offer, especially for visitors interested in culture or local cuisine. The highlight of the tour will be the visit of Heidelberg castle (entrance fee included) which is located approx. 70m higher than the Neckar river. The castle and the adjacent buildings together with the old bridge form one of the most impressive monuments that can be visited during a stay in Germany. In the historic city centre we will explore the market square, where one of the many beautiful fountains in Heidelberg is located, and the renowned Church of the Holy Spirit. Nearby is the “Kornmarkt” (grain market) located, for many the most beautiful place in Heidelberg. Lunch in a restaurant. Free time to explore Heidelberg on your own. In the afternoon we will continue our journey to Frankfurt. Checkin at the hotel and distribution of the rooms. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6 FRANKFURT
Breakfast. City tour with English speaking local guide. Frankfurt am Main is the most important city in the federated state of Hessen and is considered to have excellent international relations. The city is located behind the Taunus hills and in the Rhine-Main region. Since its founding in the 12th century, Frankfurt was considered a commercial hub in Europe. Transfer to the airport.
